Our Vision and Mission

Did you know that in Peru, nine million tons of food are wasted per year, which could feed two million Peruvians? The Peru Food Bank was created to fight against food waste.

We work with companies that donate food and personal hygiene products to us, which have already lost commercial value but are fit for consumption. We support over 243 social organizations throughout Lima and the surrounding provinces.
