Soro Cyrene

Soro is our dedicated Conservation Communications Officer at Conservation Allies. Soro joined our team in the Fall of 2023, bringing with her 4 years of experience in conservation communications and a passion for wildlife welfare and grass-roots environmentalism.

Prior to her career in conservation communications, Soro spent five years volunteering and working in local wildlife rehabilitation centers while earning her BSc in Wildlife Conservation and Management from Cal Poly Humboldt.

In her role as Conservation Communications Officer at Conservation Allies, she collaborates closely with our partners to tell their stories and raise awareness of their work. Soro manages the Conservation Allies social media channels, writes our news articles and newsletter emails, maintains the website, and assists partners with graphic design and brand management.
